Additional School or CMO Strategic Support Review Day

Strategic support site visit with BES staff


On-site visit by BES staff to diagnose key focus areas for improvement. Includes pre-visit consultation and post-visit check in.

$1,800 per visit + associated travel costs.

Data Support for MAP Assessments

Direct data support and training from the BES team

Student and grade level MAP goal-setting reports benchmarked against college-ready standards.

$30 per hour.

Data Systems and Dashboard Support

Analysis of on-site systems and dashboard assessment with BES Data Analyst and Data Systems Consultant

Following preliminary analysis, BES Data Analyst and the data systems consultant will meet with the school leader and data team, assess systems and dashboards, recommend short and long-term fixes, and develop a three-year implementation plan for the organization-wide use of data. Includes monthly follow-up calls during the academic year.

$1,600 + associated travel costs.

Executive Coaching

Remote coaching based on the needs of the most senior leaders in the organization


Develop executive leadership and management skills through regular remote coaching and feedback for one hour every other week during the academic year. Remote coaches are selected based on the needs of the executive leader.

$3,600 per participant.

Instructional and Leadership Training

Practice-based training with BES Adjuncts and additional expert presenters

Practice-based Saturday trainings in California, Massachusetts, New York, and Tennessee. Topics include live coaching, curriculum, assessment, and operations. Led by Senior Director of Leadership Development and The Fellowship Sue Walsh, the BES team, and BES Adjuncts from Excel Academy.

$50 per participant, per training.
Cost includes all meals. Participants are responsible for travel and accommodation costs.

Leadership for Emerging Networks of Schools (LENS)

Prepare and hone capacity of rising leaders for leadership transitions, school replication, and bench strength

An intense training that prepares individuals to take on heightened leadership roles within urban schools. LENS leaders study the best practices of the most successful urban schools in the country and develop the leadership skills they need to lead a high-performing school.

$5,000 for second participant | $15,000 for each additional participant. Costs include travel, accommodation, and meals for all participants.

Leadership Talent Search

Exclusive leadership search for Network schools

The Network Director of Talent will source and recruit leadership candidates from a competitive national pool. The Director of Talent will perform first round interviews and work with school-based staff to organize final interview logistics.

15% of first year salary.

Operations Leadership Coaching

Remote coaching based on the needs of the most senior operations leaders in the organization

Develop operations leadership skills through regular remote coaching and feedback. One hour every month from September to June.

$1,800 per participant.

Operations Training and Coaching

Remote coaching and training for operations leaders at Network schools

Through webinars and remote coaching sessions, participants will discuss best practices with their peers within The Network and derive a strategy to implement these practices in their own schools. BES will provide targeted coaching to leaders as they execute new operational strategies.

$1,500 per school.

Road Warriors

Study best practices at high-performing schools

Intensive, day and a half training consisting of a small-group visit to a high-performing school, followed by analysis and feedback.

Participants are responsible for travel, accommodation, and meal costs.

Weekend Warriors

Study best practices at high-performing schools, and access and practice high-rigor strategies in literacy and math

Intensive, two-day training consisting of a small-group visit to a high-performing school, followed by analysis and feedback, and intimate, hands-on sessions on the development and execution of rigorous instructional practices in literacy and math.

$50 per participant, per training.
Cost includes all meals. Participants are responsible for travel and accommodation costs.
